Probably the unsung hero of yorksoultrain, apart from myself al has been yorksoultrain`s longest resident dj`s, starting with us in the early days at the junction, a personal friend of many years, our soul lifes have been going since the late seventies early eighties, mr reliable never lets us down, during the late seventies early eighties i moved away from the scooter scene to spend more time on the northern scene, al has stuck with the scooter scene, and is still a regular at most of the rallies on the scooter scene today, together with his long term partner mandi, kev & nicki they are allways present at yorksoultrain events, it was a great honour to be asked to dj at his 50th birthday at the crescent club last year, GREAT GUY AND A LONG TERM PERSONAL FRIEND AND A GREAT DJ.
DIANE CROSBY, DJ & DOORSTAFF YORKSOULTRAIN
THE SECOND LONGEST MEMBER OF OUR TEAM, DIANE WAS THE FIRST RESIDENT DJ AT THE JUNCTION, I HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT I`M SAYING ABOUT THE WIFE LOL, BUT HAS ALLWAYS BEEN AN ENTHUSIASTIC MEMBER OF OUR TEAM, GREETS ALL OUR GUESTS WITH A WARM AND FRIENDLY HELLO AT EVERY EVENT, AND ALLWAYS TAKES THE TIME TO MAKE OUR GUESTS OLD & NEW FEEL WELCOME, DIANE USUALLY PLAYS THE RARE & UNDERPLAYED SET AT SOULTRAIN EVENTS, AND GIVES THE PUNTERS SOMETHING NEW & FRESH, WATCH OUT FOR HER PLAYLISTS IN THE PLAYLISTS SECTION OF THE SITE, ALSO AN AVID CIDER DRINKER, I DEFY ANYONE TO TRY AND OUTDRINK HER MANY HAVE TRIED & FAILED LOL, SERIOUSLY THOUGH, A LOVELY PERSONALITY AND AN ASSET TO THE YORKSOULTRAIN, NOT BAD BEHIND THE DECKS EITHER LOL....
